QueerTech.io is a group exhibition of screen and web-based artworks by queer artists working in digital media. The QueerTech.io project will be embedded in three Australian queer arts festivals in early 2017: Midsumma Horizon at Testing Grounds in Melbourne, Brisbane Powerhouse Melt Festival and the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, complemented by the QueerTech.io online exhibition.
Responding to the growing international inquiry into practices of #queertech in digital art circles, the QueerTech.io artist collective (Alison Bennett, Travis Cox, Xanthe Dobbie & Mark Payne) invite artists from around the world to come together digitally, physically and queerly to contribute internet artworks, projects and provocations to the ongoing #queertech conversation.
The QueerTech.io artist collective invite artists to submit internet/screen based artworks that contribute to the ongoing global conversations about #QueerTech practices and perspectives.
